The real estate industry is one of the most antiquated, and for me personally one of the most frustrating industries there is. Most real estate agents run around grabbing every listing they can, throwing it up for sale, and then .... waiting, waiting, hoping that another agent will come along with a buyer and it will magically sell.

Yes, the residential real estate industry is horrendous, but the commercial real estate industry is substantially worse. When you call on a commercial broker to inquire about a property you're lucky if you get a call back EVER - and if you do it might be a couple of weeks later. Meantime if you're the seller of a commercial property you're tearing your hair out because your agent is doing nothing to market the property (they're waiting, waiting for a buyer to magically appear..) meantime months and sometimes years go by with not a single offer. And when you do eventually get one, your commercial broker gets a big fat commission - for doing what exactly?

Well, once again I applied the Client Stampede Formula to this very antiquated industry and marketed a commercial portfolio for a client, turning the industry upside down and showing sellers (and developers) what is really possible when a portfolio is marketed properly ...
