Shrimp cereal? How Not To Handle a PR Crisis in Your Company
Imagine sitting down for breakfast, and pouring yourself a bowl of your favorite cereal - which happens to be Cinnamon Toast Crunch. - you know, those cute dancing, talking wheat blocks on TV that are probably more parts sugar than wheat.
What the heck, you can work it off in the gym.
As you pour out your little squares of sugary goodness, a couple of foreign objects gets poured out alongside them. "Whaaaaat?" you think to yourself.
Upon closer inspection, it's obvious that these foreign objects are in fact ...shrimp tails. What on earth these crustaceans are doing in your General Mills cereal is a big question indeed. Of course, the question was immediately asked on Twitter with photos of the offending crustaceans and the now-abandoned bowl of cereal.
As you can imagine the incident very quickly went viral. Millions of shares.
